Most people want Procrastination help to banish the culprit from their life forever.
But what if sometimes procrastination is a force for good in your life!
Huh?
In this video Marie Forleo argues FOR procrastination.
She admits we usually try and beat it – Fifty Shades of Grey style – and banish procrastination from our sight. But then Marie tells a story that proves she was recently thankful she procrastinated about going into business with someone who showed their true colors just in time before they had signed contracts.
She poses the question – have YOU ever found procrastination to be a good factor in your life?
Resistance and Procrastination
Then again, looking at it from the point of view of the lizard brain as author Stephen Pressfield argues in his book for creatives and writers, The War of Art, Procrastination is a form of RESISTANCE:
Procrastination is the most common manifestation of Resistance because it’s the easiest to rationalize. We don’t tell ourselves, ‘I’m never going to write my symphony.’ Instead we say, ‘I am going to write my symphony; I’m just going to start tomorrow.’
The danger is greatest when the finish line is in sight. At this point, Resistance knows we’re about to beat it. It hits the panic button. It marshals one last assault and slams us with everything it’s got.Never forget: This very moment, we can change our lives. There never was a moment, and never will be, when we are without the power to alter our destiny. This second, we can turn the tables on Resistance. This second, we can sit down and do our work.
For myself – I can see both sides of story when it comes to help to overcome procrastination. But mainly I aim to help clients break-free from where procrastination is crippling their goals and dreams.
EFT-Matrix Reimprinting to the rescue
In this blog post I suggest EFT and Matrix Reimprinting to find and release a younger part of you that was set up to fear … being exposed, belittled, made fun of, criticised…you name it!
That’s why most people want help for Procrastination, so they can have choice and feel empowered to take action with something they have set as important to achieve.
